So I built QuickMail.
It’s a complete open-source mail client that runs inside your own Cloudflare account. You can send and receive real email as you@yourdomain.com, with threaded conversations, attachments, drafts, delivery tracking, multiple domains, and separate user accounts.
Under the hood, it’s one @Cloudflare Worker, D1 for mail data, R2 for attachments, and @resend for sending and receiving.
There’s no QuickMail server sitting between you and your email. You deploy it, you control the database, and you own the code.
The project includes the entire working interface, an onboarding wizard, database migrations, webhook handling, and setup documentation. You can usually get it running in about 30 minutes, with most of that time spent waiting for DNS.
QuickMail v1.0 is now live. It’s free, open source, and MIT licensed.
